Before you start
What you need for
your first session.
Nothing complicated, and nothing to buy. Three things in a bag and you're ready to work — the rest is already in the room.
The list
Bring these three and you're set
Short on purpose. If it isn't on this list, don't carry it in.

Water bottle
Bring one, but you're not hauling a week's supply in with you — there's a cooler in the room with fresh, cold water, so you just top up whenever you need it.

Small towel
The kind that fits in a gym bag. It goes on the bench and the pads between sets, and it's the difference between a session that feels clean and one that doesn't.

Proper shoes for lifting
Not running shoes. A flat, firm sole is what you want under you — especially on leg days and back days, when squat, deadlift and row all live or die on how connected your feet are to the floor. Thick, springy soles squash under the weight and you lose that.
I personally recommend Converse or Vans for an affordable, supportive flat shoe.
That's the whole list. Anything else you need on the day — belts, straps, the weights themselves — is already in the gym.
Free 30-minute phone consult
Book the call — I'll sort the rest.
Book the free 30-minute call first. I'll ask where you're at and what you're after, and you'll know exactly what the first session runs like before you walk through the door.
